lighting tests



here are two quick ambient lighting tests.

Tony, the point of doing lighting tests is to create custom lights to establish a mood (that is appropriate to the scene). Throwing in an ambient light doesn't accomplish that.

i like the bottom one the lighting looks good in that one. have you tryed out mental ray it give you alot of control and looks great

depending on what story one is doing i say use your shadows for advantage shadows are great for like creepy scenes and stuff :) but also if you want a scene to look like its in a different type of day i would play around with the light coloration that might give you different tons and colors in your scene :D

Tony try a 3 point light set-up it will look the most like natural light and produce soft shadows and highlights
